The Paradoxes project arose from my contradictory fascination with sleek as well as organic forms. As part of my jury assignment for the Academy of Visual Arts (SABK) in June 2026, I consciously chose to force sober creations into a natural flow through detailed finishing.

 

Besides the tension between sleek and organic, I also explored other contradictions: light versus shadow, rough versus smooth, round versus square, and so on. By integrating these contrasts, I discovered that opposing qualities cannot only confront but also reinforce each other.
