After three decades in the corporate world, Tessa rediscovered her love for ceramics. Manipulating clay, with a preference for pure porcelain, serves her as a form of meditation.

By nature, Tessa tends to explore things independently through trial and error. And yet, encouraged by a friend, she enrolled in the Academy of Visual Arts (SABK) in Zottegem in 2021. Since then, she has been challenged by her teachers Sarah De Schepper and Sylvia Meert, under whose guidance she developed her own style.
